Runescape Christmas updates!

W00t! its nearly christmas ya'll home flies out there!

And to amke it speciall--Jagex will be adding some new updates!

Yet more fantastic updates in store for this month with a new desert village, expansion to the Champions’ Guild, new farming leprechauns, wyverns, festive imps, a devious quest, choc ices, a new piece of granite equipment and a nice Christmas update for everybody to enjoy...

and thats not all!:
Finally, the preparations for Christmas celebrations will get underway later this month, with a huge tree being delivered to Varrock. You will get a chance to help out with Diango’s toy workshop, as long as the pixies don’t destroy everything, then decorate the tree... but watch out for imps! We all know how much they like shiny things! Great rewards lie in wait for any free players or members in the form of a woolly scarf & hat and, if they have been good, a nice new toy

Some new adventures!

well, Me and mcdudeanator have been through some rough times, wich reminds me of this:

(this happened today actually)
Iwas walking along, minding my own buisness, when suddenely! I thought id train my prayer lvl-ok not that dramatic for a "suddenely!"- and went out to the chaos alter in the wilderness. Theres, there is about 15 bone respawn points, so i just picked em all up, nothing going on....
But i got greedy!
I wanted big bones!
I wanted some adventure!
So i walked out to the "death plateu" and picked up some bones, but about 10 skeleons jumped me! I fought bravely, but in the end, i had to run...(ohhh the shame!)
so i walked back to the chaos alter, only to find 2 pkers standing out the front of it. a ranger and a melee charachter both attacked me, and i was lost. Luckily i turned on "protect items" my newly earned prayer, and protected my rune scimmy and some other stuff from being dropped.
but i was back in lumbridge...and that was good! i PMed my attackers to tell them "thanks for the lift to lumby", and walked about my daily buisness
W00t! hooray for me!

Then, there was also today, where i bought all the toy horseys in diangos shop.
There will be a christmas present for all my friends on Christmas!

A new Money Making guide--fishing-- part 1.

Greetings ppl of glienior (thats what guthix calls the realm of runescape-guthix is a god of runescape),

This new guide will show you some excelent fishing tips and where to catch fish.

--Fisihing equiment--

Righto, any decent fisherman needs equipment for fishing...
So if your a Noob, and dont know where to get it, then look right here!
The fishing shop is in Port sarim, a small village west of falador and north of draynor.
This is a map to Port Sarim:

Just follow the red line and your there!

After you have Reached Port Sarim you will have to look for a shop with fish ouside it.
walk inside and you are at gerrants fishing store.
you dont kneed to buy anything yet but always remember where this place is!

--Where do i fish?--

Righto, you have your things and you should still be in port sarim. This is good because the are that i will show you is next to port sarim and comes in handy when you have a full load of fish!

follow the map below to reach the fishing area!

Note that rimmington is a good area for training if your not a very high lvl, you can train on "anja" and her husband in the house with a stove. go to the top floor and there they are!

once at th fishing area:

1. click "use" on your small fishing net then click on the water that is splashing around a bit. you should know this but still...never hurts to include it
2. your charachter will start fishing and if you click on your inventory you will see it start to fill up with fish. when you have a full inventory of fish, go back to the fishing store and sell them all to gerrant.
3. you should get around 30-50gp.
4. This is your first money for gear to fish. once you are lvl 5 fishing go back to gerrant and buy a "fishing rod" (not fly fishing) and about 30 bait.
5. go back to the fishing area and "use" the rod with the splashing water. you will start catching Sardines.
6. Sardines sell for about 7gp and are excelent to get money. once you sold a full inventory of sardines, buy more bait. you should have a lot of bait by now. now will also be a good time to buy a "fly fishing rod" and keep it in your inventory. it will come in Handy later!
   
7. eventually you can fish herring and then trout. with herring, you should cook them then drop them. With trout you should bank them raw and sell as notes to gerrant.once you do get to lvl 20 fishing then you should go back to lumbridge. Kill chickens there and save the feathers for fishing. While in Lumbridge chicken coop, get about 100 feathers and then see the map below to go to the trout fishing area!

after you have feathers then go and fish with the "Fly fishing rod" and watch as your inventory fills with fish.
after you have the fish you can go to the general store and sell them, or go to draynor bank and bank them to sell later.
